QuickBooks Pro is a customizable accounting program and you can customize it to fit your type of business. For example, product based or service based. QuickBooks Pro accounting software will meet anyone's standards when it comes to business needs.

QuickBooks Pro Features:

The ability to import data from Excel, Quicken, and Microsoft Office

Program allows you to accept payments by credit card.

Up to five of your employees can work simultaneously on QuickBooks Pro

Ease of Use: 5 stars

The program is extremely easy to use and user friendly. You can move around the program easily by using the navigation toolbars. On one of the main toolbars, there's an easy route for the tools you're going to need when you navigate the program. A pop-up menu will show you the order of the way you should use the program and how you should use it. Installation time is fast, and installation itself is simple. You can get the program to run on Windows Vista with no problems, so that setting up your business is very easy and smooth.

Help & Support: 5 Stars

Help and support in the program itself is unbeatable. This section has easy to use navigation and search tools, and you can simply type in a topic to receive a list of tips on that topic. You also have a help button in the "quick help" menu, and a list of frequently asked questions, or FAQs, is also included.

Accounts Receivable: 5 Stars

Accounts Receivables' tools are available in Customer Section of QuickBooks Pro. This tool does have a couple of disadvantages, which are that you can't use it to estimate shipping costs or to create recurring invoices.

Accounts Payable: 5 Stars

You can find Accounts Payable in the Vendors Section. Inventory tools can be used here, and you can also take care of any tasks you need in this regard.

Payroll: Five stars out of five

You can access Payroll in the employee section, and it includes functions like direct deposit.

Inventory: Gets for out of five stars

Find this section in QuickBooks Pro by looking in one of the upper toolbars under "Item." You can do item and service management for your business here, and you can create drop shipments, costing methods, and inactive items here, too. In inventory, some things are duplicated in the vendors' section, like inventory adjustments and assemblies.

Banking: Five out of five stars

Although this feature is particularly useful, you cannot void existing checks at present.

Time Billing: 4 Stars

This section is in the employee section and gives you the ability to track weekly or daily time. You can also use an included timer with this feature.

Job Costing: Four stars out of five

The customer section includes the Job Costing tools you will need. You can set jobs, track jobs and create job estimations. You can also set jobs if they are active or inactive.

General Ledger: five out of five stars

General Ledger is located in the company section. You are allowed to perform business planning, view account charts, set budgets, and manage money.

Fixed Assets: 3 Stars

The biggest disadvantage of this program. Fixed Assets section is not included in QuickBooks Pro. You can only access a list of company assets.

Conclusion:

The conclusion is that QuickBooks Pro is absolutely stellar software when it comes to the accounting details of your business. It's not perfect, but it does offer many advantages for the small business owner that'll help keep your books straight and you on top of your finances.

Dennis Houghtaling is a guru of office softwares with years of experience.
